I've got my Crucial X6 2TB Portable SSD plugged into mine...

Its not as fast as an external NVMe but is still fast enough and doesn't need any fancy cooling.

Here's my setup, now have a UGREEN 40 Gbps NVMe enclosure connected and a USB-C to DisplayPort cable, also using a yellow CAT6 LAN Cable instead of WiFi. Only port not being used is the HDMI.

Only benefit of using the USB-C to DisplayPort cable was that I was able to set a Variable of (48-240 Hertz) whereas with HDMI only Variable of (48-120 Hertz) not that it makes much difference.

I wanted to attach a Magsafe magnetic ring to the back of the lid but didn't want to stick on the metal ring direct to it fear of scratching it.....and I am too tight to pay for a dbrand skin. I then remember I have a Snorlax sticker. stuck on one of my Anbernic devices....transplanted that over and viola!

Here’s my own setup now with my recently acquired ASD. Since my MBP is now in clamshell mode I also ended up having to invest in the Magic Trackpad :p

The Flexispot standing desk was also an addition towards the end of last year, has been a great purchase so far.
Small change/addition to the desk setup today. Picked up a Desire2 riser/stand to see how it fairs.
I also decided to go commando in terms of a desk pad.

It's been an age, here's my home office, and finally my first ever Apple Silicone Mac. Just a shame MacOS 26 is dropping FireWire support
