Just got this after reading some reviews:

Has anybody watched Zulu on blu-ray yet? The picture is bloody brilliant, i was shocked at how good it was to say the film is about 64 years old!

Honestly I was blown away, there is no speaking, it is just a collection of music and video of human nature.

The original 70mm negative was digitised to 8192p resolution then downsampled to 1080p for blu ray because of the downsamplig it means its the most detailed blu ray image yet!

Blu-Ray reviews at Highdef Digest gave the video quality 4.5/5 only (only ). So according to them it isn't the best quality. Technically it should be, but in real life it isn't, but I myself really want to see it.

Blade Runner is their top rated. But I found 2001: A Space Odyssey to be better visually.

Yeah, I think because of natural flaws in negatives they also translate to the digitised source.

Hopefully they will get round to remastering Chronos in the same way.
