I certainly didn't scrimp in the cream.

450ml milk
250ml cream
200ml clotted cream
75g caster sugar
One vanilla pod.

It was my OH's birthday at the weekend and so rather than going out, I cooked/prepared:

Oysters two ways

Oysters with garlic and parmesan

Oysters with a shallot and red wine vinegar sauce/dip (& tabasco!)

Scallop ceviche

Turbot fillets with salsa verde, pea purée and potato terrine

Lemon posset

We also had a cheese board - to say we were full by the end is an understatement!

That looks most awesome, the only thing I'd add to that is nutmeg or if out of that cinnamon. Nom.
