Show us you vista game browser!

Marque stuff that is unstable/not working with red dots if you want, might help people to identify games that don't work or aren't stable (also note this is dependent on drivers & hardware too, not just the OS) ...

Here's mine:







This btw is nothing compared to what I have installed in xp :p .
Also note a lot of games won't show up in my games browser, mainly because I didn't install em really just running em from xp install folders...

NOTE: Please keep pics blow 1024 horizontal pixels, it may be annoying for people to scroll sideways on their browser, if you want to show bigger include a thumbnail with link to the full size pic...


EDIT 2: Note that this thread is a year old, many of the games I marked work fine now in vista or I don't have them installed any more.

Not a lot on there at the minute, only installed windows last week. Stil have some games i've been meaning to install (hitman and Deus Ex and far cry)

Haven't marked any as they seem to be working fine with my system and vista.
 
Ok i got vista ultimate but i dunno how i do that :confused:

also that cool 3d thing with an open window lols.
 
I wasn't sure how to do it either (I use Windows Classic theme too).

Start->Programs->Games->Games Explorer

It's actually a pet hate of mine because some games don't seem to put themselves in the Start Menu Programs anymore, e.g. C&C3.
 
Can I ask why you've marked Company of Heroes and Supreme Commander as being unstable? They're under the "Games for Windows" banner and should be rock solid with Vista.

Supcom: Crashes, due to nvidia drivers, nvidia has forgotten about geforce 6xxx and 7xxx users like me....

CoH: Freezes, randomly, same reason as above.

Both games are rock solid in xp for hours though.

:s your steam games seem to actually work? :eek: Mine go on the list but automatically update after a while and end up with all the same name. Looks like kezmo is having the same problem.

I've manually edited my games. :)
 
My 3rd Game browser so far, doesn't include everything but most ( my 2 previous vista's are gone..:p)

Of all those on the list I've had trouble with Assassins creed ( locked up my pc) but I've updated to 1.02 now and yet to test if it's fixed.

Vice city, like with my previous installs, is still borked, black screen bug and random freezes of the app.
all other games on the list ( even worms :eek:) are working 100%.

The game explorer is the single most annoying misfeature of vista. I love Vista on the whole, but the game explorer has nearly made me go back to XP on more than one occasion. I could ignore it if games hadn't started installing shortcuts ONLY there. It drives me crazy!

Supcom and Company of Heroes work perfectly for me.
