Looking nice in the sun!
I've been forced to take a top box on the rental bike, but due to fear of the NZ police I'm not riding like I would in the UK/Europe so it's not that bad mostly. Plus gift storage.
I've been thinking it's very soft (oh it's a new ish F800GS) on the throttle but maybe the 91 octane petrol isn't helping! I might try 95 when I head north in a few days.

Was looking to trads up to an 1200 Explorer but ive just booked a test ride on a new 1300GS Adventure. The Tiger is all you would ever need but it can get uncomfortable after a few hundred miles.

Passed my CBT begging of October, 3 days later took delivery of my Duke from Fowlers.

Picked up the new whip on Saturday (minus the topbox because they ordered the wrong colour!)
Haven't had a lot of time with it yet but very happy. The quickshifter will take some getting used to, I forgot I had it most of the journey back.

Got my first run out in 6 weeks. Probably the next one is in the new year. But we cherish what we can manage.

Crazy few weeks trying to get the man cave/bike cave ready to get the bikes actually inside.
Just about managed it, but quickly realised i need more storage space, so kind at a lose as to what to do currently.
my plan is to have some acoustic panelling behind the TV and shelves maybe, for now i've just flopped last years haul on underneath it, any other ideas or better storage options would be most welcome.
Currently the stable is 2015 R1 Race bike, 2022 R6 Race bike, 2024 R1 Race bike and my 25 R9 which, chances are, will be another race bike next year. Not forgetting the little pit bike, which i'm looking forward to jumping on again.
Had a nice little supply drop from our teams sponsors, a load of new pads, new discs which i managed to fit this morning, jobs let are new brake lines, new fairings to fit, and then ready for some testing Spain.
