Just remember they're old school 'analogue' bikes - no traction control, no ABS, nothing - you ask for power and you shall receive :D even on a sunny day your tyres won't get very warm, after my run up to Canterbury on Saturday they were barely luke warm after I got off :(

How many of you guys have dropped your bike?
 
I've left the disk lock in and pulled away while turning....thank the beer gods I was wearing Alpinestar boots as the whole thing went on my anckle. That was my Honda Shadow though.

Apart from that I've not had anything else happen
 
I dropped it about 5months ago. Pulled over to put my water proofs on, put the sidestand down... well I THOUGHT I put the sidestand down! Was leaning it over and just thought it was the camber of the road but no, sure enough got it past tipping point and boom.

Mines a fair bit heavier than yours too :p
 
I reckon i'll end up doing something like you guys :p Fingers crossed no one is around when it happens! :p

Just wait until you get to the induction roar at between 9-15k rpm. It's addictive!

It sounds great at that range even with the stock cans. The arrows etc give you more bass at idle and sub 5k rpm.

I dropped my scooter about 15 mins after buying it. Parking it on a hill was a bit harder than I realised but I've never dropped anything since. Been knocked off or down a few times though. :mad:
