What's it like down at lower levels rather than up in the mountains? I remember going snowboarding years ago to Aosta in March I think, and we were walking around in t-shirts in the town as it was 15-18 degrees, yet there was still plenty enough snow up the mountain.

At this time of year on a sunny day it's about 15 degrees and lovely by the lakes. It still rains/snows a lot though even in the valleys which should stop mid-March.

Get a bike you can stick chains on and have some fun! :D

I have considered getting some form of supermoto so I can stick knobblies on it in winter and upset some skiers.

When I used to live in Guildford and the snow used to cripple the South East I used to love kicking my KTM 200EXC into life and slithering up the A3 to work in London, or scooting around delivering milk to stranded families!

Sadly since becoming a propah Lahndaner there's nowhere within riding distance to green lane, so it sits there slowly returning to it's base elements :( Should flog it really.

its an oxford cover with a few wheelie bins underneath it:p

I know what it is,i have x ray vision, plus I can see the slight outline of the headlights:D

Out for my first quick spin in months, not ridden for ages because of a back injury so didn't venture far. Good to get back out though. Spent an hour once I got back cleaning all the salt from the road from her though!
