It was ridiculous mate, I wasnt going quick at all and just misjudged my space, slammed on but front wheel was on something and bike went from under me I knew I was coming off so turned left into it, I have no intention of doing anything of the sort any more put it that way hah.

Snapped my gear shifter off, I was in Keighley at the time so managed to first gear it to a garage and he just stuck a bolt through it so I got home, Rather anoying though as I went into Colin Appleyards to see about parts and they just laughed and said no Hyo dealers in Yorkshire.... garage literally accross from it turned out to be a hyosung dealer :D nether the less I bought all my parts online and got them shipped over, worked out a hell of a lot cheaper.

I'm trying to get a proper jacket and pants but nowhere has stock of anything at the moment near me :( Lovely looking bike you've got pug btw, how long have you had it?

Well the main thing is mate, you got away without any broken bones or proper damage... always a "good" fall... learn from it though lol... whatever you did wrong, don't make same mistake.

As for my bike, only had him around 4 weeks... only passed my DAS 4 weeks ago today... and bought this... got a bargain I reckon and I've tweaked and tidying him up (not that he needed it)... new seat, wheel decals... new light bulbs, just stuff to freshen it up... well chuffed with it... and my new tyres come tomorrow, so I'll break them in over the next few days hopefully.

RRW isn't it? good track bike, my old man had one of those when I was growing up.. I remember going on the back at the age of just 10 and pooing myself!

Glad it was nothing to major, happens to us all at times. Appleyards staff are a bit hit and miss, really depends on who you deal with really.

Was it the Firefox Racing? at the top of the hill just passed morrisons at the T-junction (right hand side as your ride up) or the one down just passed appleyards car park think there called Great Northern Cars. Just asking as i am thinking of changing place where i take my bike, just dunno what the other places are like lol.

About getting gear, your best bet i would say is heading into bradford to bradford motorcycles on Canal Road, or Hein Gericke (probably your best bet) on westgate (also one in leeds, Regent Street).

Bandit 650 k6 with 1264miles. Betty:D

And to think, you where going to get an older, over priced bandit 600 with more miles on the clock. :D

I'm gonna suggest a couple of additions, a rear hugger & front fender extender, the reason being Bandits do suffer from corrosion, if you can cut down the amount of road debris pinging off the front of the engine & underneath the seat, it'll make keeping your pride & joy looking good, a helluva lot easier. ;)

Oohh a rear hugger is a cracking idea!

I don't like the fender extenders though, would a belly pan do?

Quick look online for parts.... £125 for hugger:( £80 for a belly pan :(

This is going to be a very costly hobby! Need to do my car licence and get a car for winter so I can make the bike last as long as possible.

Ouch £1200 for third party only insurance on an S reg 5 door Fiesta.... that is vile:mad:

Sold my CBR600 and got a Triple:

I'd heard they were good, but FFS! It's mind-bogglingly good fun.
Excuse the shoddy iphone pic, will try to get some better ones soon.

Thanks guys - it's spotless. 57 reg, 4140 miles when I got it. Even the rear sprocket and chain are in tip-top nick - the guy I bought it from was selling it for his wife, who just wasn't riding it.

Lovely!
I'm looking at getting a new Street Triple when I get a garage. Beautiful bikes and the engines are fantastic, heaps of grunt!!

Only one little thing wrong with that Striple, it's not Matt Graphite which, to e, is the best colour of both types. Other than that <drool>
