Ok, so after a lifetime of using IE, trying out FF, but finding it plain ugly and full of crap, I've finally found my new favorite browser and layout:

firefox + adblock plus, removes all ads, and i set mine to remove ocuk banners and logo's, loads up quicker (slightly ) and you get a lot more page space
