Quite remarkable for a 9-3 Aero, on the route back from Luton to Cambridge

Proper Grandma driving, hardly touched the brakes[/QUOTE]

That HAS to be downhill, wind assisted! Mine would have only just touched 40 who grandma driving

Pfft, these fancy pants trip computers, I measure mine with a compass and a map :p

But generally 22mpg over a tank. 2.5miles each way across the city centre :p (work on opposite side to where I live). Although I do commute by bike more now but I can be lazy some days, especially when it's ****ing it down, which it does an awful lot in Manchester!

Was a touch windy on Sunday night, and are a few hills on the way back on the A505 (hit over 60mpg going down one), it did drop to 40mpg by the time I got home in Cambridge

Route

I was quite surprised I got it that high!

Normally it's around 27mpg..

pic was taken about 20 miles after I reset it, and it was at 46mpg on the outskirts of town another 10 miles down the road.

But yes, it was abnormally high!

Skoda Fabia VRS - Computer showing 74MPG... as usual the fuel computer talks &*^t!

For a fill to fill calc I am getting just over 60MPG.

my VRS is the same mate, But I managed 666 miles out of a tank when driving through germany luxembourg etc earlier this mth, computer said 64mpg when in reality it was around 59mpg.

I got 31.4mpg out of my A8 4.2 yesterday upto rotherham and back on 63 litres of fuel £70.00 worth ( 400 miles, 40 miles range left ) would have been probably over or close to £100 to fill it up.

Yeh that sounds a bit more like my experience :) is yours a manual?

Ah mine was the 5 speed auto, I averaged about 27 with 37ish on a run. Got it down to 13mpg on a hooning to north Devon once though :)

Current car was about 32 average but I'm not really using it any more except for short trips across town. No computer to photograph though :(

130i with mixed driving:

It's low there but it's very easy to get over 30mpg with mixed driving if you don't hoon it everywhere like I do. :D

Yeah, but I meant the needle that usually sits below the rev counter, where you have the fuel guage.

I like my dancing MPG needle.

Ah, nopes :(

I didn't realise that gauge displayed real-time MPG like that.

Now I want one for no other reason than novelty factor!
