The idle noise is still annoying though, isn't it? I find it really annoying after having driven a petrol daily for a few months :o

Over the past ~900 miles, of which the vast majority has been town driving but including a trip to South Wales and Wiltshire from the Midlands - 28mpg, frankly quite poor economy for the performance on offer (2006 Fiesta ST, and no, theres not anything wrong with it!)
 
bumped because I'm bored and did some basic maths (even though the car does it for me but I like to check these things)

33.2 MPG, 229 mile round trip, normal driving.

Clio 200 - I think this is the absoloute best I can do / stand. I can't be bothered driving this car sensibly anywhere, 'normal' mode or hoon.

Was managing to average an indicated 50mpg (about 48mpg true) over the weekend, which is rare - Toyota Auris HSD.

Mileage seems to be increasing recently which is odd, presumably I've very slightly adjusted my driving style without noticing it.
 
Trip computer reads 46.9mpg over the last 300 miles, 200 of that being motorway/dual carriageway and the rest in rush hour commuting.
 
I averaged 28mpg on my 150 mile drive to and back from the mini RR this weekend in my MX5, seems reasonable considering I only used about 30 miles of dual carriageways :)
