Show us your kitty cats

yeah they do, not too badly priced.

hugos got ongoing pee problems despite being on cystese, was in the vet for the day last week and had xrays and scans and blood tests. found nothing.

got to put him on Hills C/D for 6 weeks with the cystese and see if that kicks it. otherwise he's got to go in for a general anaesthetic and a catheter inserted to see if there is a plug in his urinary tract. ouchy.

Is he on dry food or wet food?
My cat had regular bouts of cystisis for around 3 years, at the time he was on Hills dry food (he's always been prone to be a fatty) so we switched him to the Hills wet food variant and he's never had cystisis since.
He's always been terrible at drinking water so the dry food must have been partially dehydrating him...

he prefers wet food. vet tested him for crystals and couldn't find any, ultrasound and xray didnt show any crystals/stones in the bladder either. was some sludge at the bottom of his bladder but some is apparently normal.

drinks a reasonable amount too, hassles you to turn the kitchen/bathroom tap on rather than using the water fountain..

they did find a fair bit of protein in his bladder which could point to a kidney issue. but will cross that bridge later.

Good luck with finding the cause and hopefully its not too serious. I know how distressing it is to have to see the discomfort it causes the cat, must be bloody agony for them :(

The one who loves me the most and always asks to be taken on the lap, Reiko. Mom for rest of them, 4 years old. Also called Fwuffy, you can see why :D Just now she shouted at neighbours cat who came for a visit. They've got a black male who has been visiting our house for a year before we bought it, apparently no one's locked the door when they were leaving.

Mitsuki (Syrup) lying on our dryer. Loves the sun, very silent 1 year old girl, except when she's hungry :D Honestly you need earplugs then :D

Then there's Meatball, also answers to Retard or Give That Back You **** :D 6 months ball of pure energy. If he can move something, he WILL steal it and hide it somewhere. So far 3 rubber bands and a battery missing, I'm afraid he's making a bomb. Loves drugs and kisses. When we were deworming our cats, both ladies had to be made to swallow the pill, this one just grabbed it and ate it in a sec, we have to be careful around him with our vitamins, tries to steal them lol.

He's also my gf's alarm clock. She had trouble getting to sleep a while ago and would sleep until 5-7 pm (that's right), Meatball would try and kiss her to wake up. 1800 claws and teeth into arms and face :D

P.S.
Apparently my phone makes huge photos, put into spoilers.

Couple pics of my two.

First Rommy my 3 year old MC, she is the Queen of the house.

Bruce is 1 today. Still a lunatic, still lovely. He's made losing Dave at Christmas that little bit easier. :)

This is how the kitten is currently behaving with our resident cat https://youtu.be/sHWsN0mfD9w

He does insist on following her everywhere and blocking her in like that though, he's currently sat outside the bedroom she's closed in pawing at the door.

They've touched noses a few times now but she then swipes at him, I'm worried about her doing him an injury.

Our Mya is a big old girl at 1 year :)

Soft and silly as anything during the day, but she is a ruthless hunter at night :D

She loves hunting in the long grass and hill behind our house where a lot of rabbits live.

She came home with a tick the other day though, I removed it and gave her antiseptic treatment but it a bit of a worry as they seem to be everywhere this year.

I'm considering getting a tick treatment but it seems they are quite bad for the health of the cat too :(

Mya looks lovely there, I can just picture here in ancient Egypt enjoying being worshipped as a goddess (as is the right of all cats) :)

Peanut in the washing basket this morning. I have no idea what he wanted but he was being very vocal
