Loving the TT. The steering wheel looks weird though... I think the older one looked better! The middle bit is too small!

I know what you mean. It seems to be the way they are going with steering wheels though.

I think I will always love and appreciate the older Mk2. Fantastic cars and I always liked the curvy design and the interior was good quality too. The mk3 is something else entirely, more angular and feels very different yet obviously familiar. With little touches like the petrol cap cover which is like a combination of the cover from the mk1 + mk2.

I like the new TT, I know my other half is keen to upgrade hers once they depreciate a bit more. Shame they ruined the new R8...it works with the TT, not so much with the R8 imo.

Have they reduced the turbo lag on the new 2.0 engine? Drives me up the wall when driving my other halfs TT.

£26k on Broadspeed for a new TT. Not bad that.

How much are Audi Financial Services screwing you over for? :p

A lot lol. But there is a lot of options on this one. Of course it would be much cheaper if it was standard no options.

They are doing quite decent deposit contributions (£5k+) as well which is why I looked into it. Monthly payments have gone up but I'm happy I can afford them + save for house deposit. Part ex wasn't great on the old one though - mainly due to high mileage I think.

The s-tronic gearbox seems to make turbo lag no existent as it is always in the right gear within less than a second.

Put a stripe on it.

Yep it's the new 2.0 TFSI 230ps with s-tronic gearbox. Sounds good, lovely dsg blips on up shifts when giving it the beans. A lot of fun. :D

The virtual cockpit is great but I'm still getting used to it - kind of miss analog dials. The full screen nav view is quite awesome and I look forward to trying it out. All car settings, media, dab radio etc is done on the screen.

I will get some decent quality pics up once I've had a chance to clean it myself. And waiting for the sun to come out because the metallic blue has a lot of flake in it.

Presumably it was a pre-reg as I can't imagine that being anybody's first color choice, and it's not long until 16 plates are out?

I'm not a fan of the new TT really, the interior looks weird without a second screen for the navigation and that instrument cluster has far too much going on.

I'm not keen on the virtual cockpit tbh, much prefer head up displays.

The TT looks decent but the wheel arches...couldn't it have been one continuous body panel as it looks a bit tacked on.

I'd never buy a brand new car, on finance, before I'd have sorted my house/mortgage! But that is me and each to their own. The new TT is a lovely looking car and I think the one above is a great colour.

I like that TT, and the colour.

I don't get GT86 > Focus though:(

Few reasons:

Fancied a change, and the GT was ~5months away from being given back as at end of contract.

Focus more practical for my needs, and still pucks a nice punch

Cheaper(ish) for me in terms of running costs

After 19,000 miles I said bye to the GT86, and picked up my ST3 :D

It was school run time though and had stuff to do tonight so did 5miles and not gone past 3rd gear yet, might go out in a bit!

Not sure what's more impressive, the car or the blockpaving and plants :D

Isn't that imprinted concrete? :p Do like the yellow Ford sat on it though, which is a first for me.

[Cool Starry Bra]Although I don't blame you for making the mistake, the surveyor thought it was block when we sold our house with it. The useless sod he was. :p
