Still loving it!

Really should take some pictures of it with my decent camera rather than my phone. Says a lot about phone cameras though if I've held off this long.

JDM cars usually have pink Subaru badges on the grille. The rest of the exterior STi badges are pink even on UK cars. Mine's a Type UK so came with a black Subaru badge but I swapped it for a pink badge to add a bit of colour to the front end... not like the car was any less offensive beforehand, haha.

Cheers siliconjim. I had a bugeye WRX before this which was superb. Did a lot of miles in it in 12 months and it was absolutely bullet proof. I was starting to look at STi seats and bigger turbos and it was just too nice an example to modify, as well as me wanting an Impreza STi since I was about 14, it was the right time.

Lovely looking (and sounding) car that.
Why for sale, if you don't mind me asking? Something even more interesting in the pipeline?

Cheers! After 18 months of ownership it's time to move on to something different. Am out looking at a few options this Sunday so watch this space :)

You should take a pic of the driver's side seat bolster, normally when people take pics avoiding it, I assume the bolster is ruined.

I would, were it not for the fact that the bolster is not exactly the highlight of the car :p

...and all 4 wheels :p

Oh shhh, only 3 of them are kerbed :p Holding off on a refurb as have a few dealers that may be interested so will let them knock me down and save the hassle of doing it myself. If I go down the private sale route, then I'll get a full refurb done and avoid driving the car until it's sold so I don't risk damaging another one :D

Damaging?? You destroyed at least one when you first bought it didn't you  :D Still, seriously nice looking motor. I would if I had the cash!

I would, were it not for the fact that the bolster is not exactly the highlight of the car :p

I think you might have missed the point a little. Sometimes it's important not just to show the highlights, but also that the likely potential 'low-lights' are not there as well. :)

The M3 is gorgeous as ever. I actually like the black wheels in those pictures as well! A lot!

S3 looks great too, the highlight is definitely the interior. It looks like something which should be in something far more upmarket than a hot A3!

Maybe he scratches his back on it when getting in and out? Or rubs up against it like an affectionate cat? Now theres an image... :p
