Nice, is it a genuine one?
Can't remember if front disks are bigger on CSL's or not. Still, very nice.
20mm bigger at 345mm.
Ah, thought so. I thought the brakes looked a bit small.
No it's got the CSL bumper, boot lid, wheels etc.
There's barely a noticeable difference in brake disc size. The interior is surely more of a giveaway...

I wish DC5s were more affordable, I'd love to have one, great things to drive, a mate few years back allowed me to have a drive in it, such an event.
Bet he sat there rubbing his hands together when he posted his E46 "Oooh, the lads on motors will love this"
Instantly gets ripped in to.
I think it looks amazing. But some people have an issue with anything that isn't exactly how it came out of the factory. Don't get me wrong, I generally only like things that look OEM/subtle and there's nothing wrong with a regular E46 M3, but if you can make some styling tweaks that look completely OEM/classy still (which they obviously do because were factory fitted to a CSL) to make it look better then why not? It's not a "fake CSL", unless it purporting to be a CSL, it's just got some alternative bits on it. Personally I prefer the standard front bumper, but would rather have the CSL wheels and the CSL bootlid than the regular items as they just look nicer.
It's not like he's painted the wheels black with rattle cans, tinted the windows, put two white stripes down the car and slammed it now is it?
I agree with you but as soon as you start wearing the badges (it's got the csl wing grills) then who are you trying to kid? Anyone who is going to be impressed by it will know the difference.
Mine isn't that great on the road, stiff engine mounts, stiff springs, slight touch on the brakes put you though the windscreen etc.
Also, I paid less than £5k for this one*, so I'd say they are affordable.
*may have needed a few k spending on it...this is what it looked like when I bought it.
