They are good fun in that respect. :D

Was driving around in the Corolla the other day. Realising that I've only done 70 miles in the past couple of weeks, and my average was 22MPG cos I've been ragging it everywhere... Made me think... I don't really need anything practical anymore... :p

Get a sorted mx5! You know you need to ;) do it properly this time haha.

Insignia Grand Sport 2.0cdti 170 Elite Nav auto

Standard kit includes:

8 speed auto (Aisin box)
Adaptive LED headlights (auto high beam can dip sector by sector which works really well)
Heated front and rear seats (heated front seats have an automatic function which is ace)
Lane keep assist
Auto-emergency braking
Leather seats and steering wheel
Navigation
Front and rear parking sensors
Rear USB ports
OnStar
Tinted rear windows
8" instrument display
Apple Car Play and Android Auto
Keyless entry and start

Optional kit on this car includes:

20" diamond cut alloys
Sports leather upgrade
Space-saver spare wheel
Winter pack (heated front screen, heated steering wheel)
Rear view camera
Heads-up display
Metallic paint (Sovereign Silver)
Flex-Ride (adaptive dampers)

I think this might be the best-specc'd car I've had so far, and are likely to have again for some time.

The silver paint wouldnt be my first choice, but it does have a rather nice 'molten metal' quality to it.

Very pleased so far. The auto-box really suits this car. :)

I really like the new direction Volvo has taken in their designs, they look superb. Not been inside one to find out if they are more upmarket than the last generation though, was thoroughly disappointed with the 2015 XC70.

They are MUCH nicer inside compared with how they used to be. We went and looked around E Class, 5 series, q7 etc before hand and in comparison they were all very 'German', as in not exactly interesting. He really didn't like the BMW interior, far too similar to the previous gen.

This is basically his spec:

Acme get your name changed back. I don't understand this 3 minutes business. Unless it's asim18 and Mac 10.

The V40 is basically the new C30 is it not? And the new S60 is confusingly a replacement for the S40 rather than the previous S60?

Or am I talking nonsense? :p
