Red leather would set it off nicely. Bet it's black though? :p

Aye it's black. I did quite like the red but the trouble is split colours are a rarity so when you say red literally everything is red.

I couldn't live with that.

I've not seen a Blue and Grey one in person.

What's annoying thought is some of them don't look too bad on the configuration but IRL they are horrid.

Yup. The mixed interiors though are great. I very nearly bought a car with grey black split.

That reminds me of the lurid turquoise and pink interiors from Porsche's air-cooled days

Some of the best exteriors ever made but easy make the worst interiors. I cannot think of any other brand that looks worse than some of the interiors on Porsches.

Its not clean and my iPhone makes it look darker than it is, one day will remember to bring the proper camera out and take some photos, but having great fun today smoking around in the M3 and driving like a typical M car owner, sideways and smoking the tyres. :D

Still it does look good. :D

Car goes in tonight for a much neater and tidier rear seat delete than what I had done a few years ago, exterior all sorted, so time to sort interior, probably going to get a pair of Recaro Pole Positions and Recaro seat mounts too. Then its in with Spires tuning next Friday for some suspension tweaking and track alignment and car shall be doing Donnington evening trackday May/June for a shakedown, see how it copes, if all is well, then a set of new wheels with sticky tyres and some full days booked up at Oulton, Donnington and Bedford all being well. :)

Looking good.... Have always wanted to give Oulton Park a try.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my spare recaro side mounts... Don't think illI get a PP seat for the passenger side. Let me know if you're interested.

Oulton Park is really great.

Donnington is fast and flowing and generally suits road cars with 250HP upwards or Caterhams with 150HP upwards.
Oulton Park has a lot more tighter corner so is not as fast or flowing but is fun in a different way, though it suits smaller cars better it still remains fun in a bigger heavier car. But you can fun at Oulton in say a 100HP Caterham or a 150HP road car, but I'd say its harder on the brakes due to lower speed tighter corners and there been a few of them so do make sure your brakes are more than upto the task.

I've done Bedford, Silverstone, Anglesey but never find myself wanting to return there, but Donnington and Oulton are always calling, only other track I totally love is Spa, but its a bit more than an hours drive away and Spa definetely suits cars with 300HP upwards or the proper fast Caterhams as though it has some tight corners its got epic straights and some really fast corners too where horsepower is important, again strong brakes are required as in a car with some power you braking hard from 150-180mph on the back straight.

Yeah. It looks nice, tight and fairly technical.

I haven't considered Donnington before. I was there a few years back to watch a GT3 race. But haven't thought about visiting for the same reason I had thought about giving Silverstone a try. In short I thought those tracks would be a little too wide for something like the Mini. So I was pleasantly surprised during my track time at Silverstone last week. It was a lot better than I expected.... Still I too doubt I'll head there again. It just isn't tight enough.

I still need to give Bedford a try. From some of the youtube vids I've seen. Their track layouts look right up my street. If you're ever back in Wales (the south), I highly recommend you give Llandow a try. It's a great track... Very short. But most importantly enjoyable. I think my next stop will be Castle Coombe!
