Very rare indeed, there’s probably more tidy E30 325i sports around than genuine 328 sports left!
The market didn’t appreciate them for so long that most ended up as drift cars or just wrecked.
This is one of the few to have survived. It drives like a new car. The smoothness of it overal was surprising. I owned one in the exact same specification apart from the rear spoiler about 12 years ago. When I saw this I had to have it. Is kept garaged and will only be used on nice days.
It’s rare enough now that I’ve had a few people comment on it on the few occasions it’s been out and about. A great era for BMW when they were still genuinely desirable in a way that I don’t think they are any more. (That’s not to say they make bad cars now - they don’t...)
Saw it when it was up for sale, thankfully out of my price range Idk how long it would stay stock in my ownership.

@grudas You slapped a turbo on it yet?
Dare I ask how much? Looks awesome.Come on man it would be wrong to modify it!! It’s already got some Eibach springs on it and I’m contemplating put it back to original suspension haha. I have a totally original fetish at the moment.
It was expensive no doubt. I just had to have it the moment I saw it. *shrugs*
Has your mate got his OSF tyre on backwards?
They don’t look right.

I love how the cars are customised - to look the same.
I'm still considering a MX5 MK1, but it needs a turbo really... Drove a MK2 1.8 sport with welded diff few weeks ago, the number of clutch kicks to keep it sliding was a bit annoying. No turbo yet @IC3 want it done but it's silly money and I have a feeling that my engine would give up at any boost!

Just under £11k.
Yes I could have bought an M3 - but I didn’t especially want one. Yes it was a LOT of money. There are other cars out there for less with less miles, but I specifically wanted a hellrot car. I had one identical to this many years ago.
I’m happy with it, though I originally started looking for an E30 325i sport I soon realised I would rather have a very very clean E36 over a doggy E30 sport. The nicest are now 15k odd and above which was beyond my budget.
