Show Us Your Motors!

Where has Summer gone?!

I like that ducktail spoiler, flows with the lines of the car perfectly. :)
Just watch your front wheels don't raise of the ground at speed causing skittish behaviour. ;)

If you can afford motors like that you wouldn't be mixing with the scum class.

Maybe, but everyone needs to pop into Tesco's at some point. It's not always convenient to pop home and change cars when all you want is a Snickers.

Totally stunning. Hard to believe the same company designed my FK8 :D

Despite @pugheaven warning me off, I finally went a little mad and bought a near twenty year old BMW X5 4.4i Sport. One owner from new, full service history, 90k miles, in great condition.

Had it for about a month now, put about 1500 miles on it, and enjoying every journey :D

Always fancied one of these! How are you getting on with it? Is the driving position more like a normal saloon, or closer to that of a van?

Going really well so far, touch wood. You certainly know you're up high, and I'm coming from a CRV, so yes height wise it's similar to a van - great seats too!

Proving to be as economical as I had expected, so that's a bonus

Funny you say that, went into limp mode when I removed the rear seats too....

I love the FK8 looks!

Got an invite to a local pub that is doing a monthly car thing. Relatively small but will grow I feel and some interesting cars there too, not just posh stuff. Got chatting to a guy about my car. He obviously had some nice motors and we talked about them. Bid him goodbye and he drove out in a MINT Capri 3.0L S and he never even told me about it. For me THE car of the meet as my dad was a big Capri bloke.

Anyway, couple of mine taken by some bloke with a camera.

Car still keeps crapping itself with messages....annoying

It has done this a few times now, always when negotiating tight spaces at 5mph or less, I guess sensors crapping out. Turning off and on resolves it.

Car went all slippy slide on me, like oil on the road. Then threw this up. Added some air and went away as at first it was showing 240 in the offending tyre, which was false.

Yes, we all know them and it will never make any sense but I have had that. I remember having a big argument with some stupid cow who felt “I’ve got children” was an excuse for banging her car door against my car 3 or 4 times a few years back. Company car but still boiled my **** and made me consider murder as a real option.

Should have asked for her insurance details and threatened to call the fuzz when she refused. :p

Might think twice about doing it again then.

That's why I park over two bays at the far end of a car park.

That'll get you a keying from some headcase, or a posting on social media from some sadcase. :p

Proper car. Red E30 Touring!
The reason I got invited is I was out walking locally and one of my local walks has become a bit of a petrol head gathering area. Young couple with a really nice E30 (her pride and joy) got chatting about my car and they invited me to come along.
