I think that was the same day a friend was there in his Cup Car. Red one?
Don't think so, lots of other nice stuff there though including a Ford GT that I've never seen on track! Brave! Couple GT3, McLarens, Evora/Exige etc. AMG GTR which cooked its brakes, Project 8. Great lineup and all polite good drivers.

Had an old Beetle a year or two ago, primarily for my brother who is blind. Sold it but he misses so ended up with this madness yesterday:

Never had one before, so a lot to learn. I forget just how much progress cars have made over the years, this thing is an absolute death trap, but sounds good, so my brother loves it already

Buying it has satisfied my urge to just buy something though, so thats a good thing

It's been quite some time since I posted here - but here's my MK3.5 MX5 PRHT in the Highlands of Scotland:

Also been lurking for a while, recently needed a new practical family wagon for carting people and things around so naturally went for the sensible option. No doubt not to everyone's taste but there's quite a lot to like.

And by sensible I meant the other thing.

Lovely. Love minis, always feels like you are going 40mph faster than you really are.

No safety features to talk of so wouldnt come out great in a crash.

Just dont do what my mate did when we were 17/18. Dropped a k series 1.4 engine in it but didnt have any more money to upgrade the brakes or suspension. Coming down a hill to a T junction too fast one day his brakes failed to stop him going straight across the road and through a stone wall. He had cuts and bruises and boke his arm but the mini was dead

From that angle it almost looks like a model 3 with a Porsche badge stuck on the front
