Love it!
Here are some from a failed drift day I did over the summer. Most likely complete lack of skill, but it was a complete failure for me. Car was understeering everywhere, even with OTT tyre pressures@mjt I need a pick-me-up. More Caterham photos please.
nice Gibbo
im sure on better tyres, etc you would be closer to under 10s ?

By under 10 as on 9.9 nope that’s not possible I just want a 10 so 10.9999 would suffice.
A 10 was possible today as I’m also learning the car as first run was no LC and feathering it off line, second run LC but was expecting it to change up for me and it did not as I was in manual mode. 3rd run LC and automatic and 4th run LC and manual. Tyres were only 22c and need to be 40c plus ideally to grip but with 1hr plus waits between runs they just can’t warm up. Full tank of fuel won’t help and headwind most certainly not.
I won’t bother going again though as I know the car can do it and Santa pod is just either too busy or never goes that smoothly and the fact it’s a 2hr plus drive don’t help.
Way car gets to 140 is crazy fast just a shame the 60ft were a bit weak due to traction issues because it was cold.
If it isn't changing up for you automatically, you've not properly triggered LC. If you do change up, it'll cancel LC mode as well.
I can do LC in both manual and auto in mine and I had it in manual but was thinking was on auto so on the second run it just hit the limiter in first for the runs afterwards I made sure the box was in auto and it worked fine. Why my reaction times are slow as was waiting for boost to build.
I suspect 10.4s is on the Trofeo tyre on a day much warmer than today.
Plus if it is USA then their drag times are like their horsepower claims lol.
NOTE: Whilst in launch control, the vehicle will carry out automatic gear shifts, and optimise traction. It will continue to do so until launch control is aborted. To abort launch control, release the accelerator pedal, apply the brake, or operate one of the gearshift paddles.
You still owe me a 10 second car
So close certainly regretting filling the tank as the Tesco close to the strip.
20mph headwind too and cold tyres and though not a busy day it was slow running as the bikes / dragsters kept messing up the track and rain.
Still excuses over properly quick car always trapping 130mph plus and the launch control knocked nearly half a second off but was getting a lot of wheel spin, was gutted when I ran a 11.04 so close but denied.
Also 33mpg on the run back, quite fuel efficient when cruising in top gear.
The fact you can make it a 2+2 even makes it practical too.... right?Love that FD. Everything about the shape of the FD is just so right.
