Show Us Your Motors!

Nice sunny day for a drive so took the RS for a long 8 hour road trip :D not even been cleaned properly for almost a month due to the rain (except the alloys were cleaned last weekend :p). Still looks relatively clean though....at least the keying damage is almost gone & not even noticeable in direct sunlight (harshest light of the lot!).

I picked this up today. My first venture into anything Jap. Got it as a project car, it’s been off the road a few years so needs some work to get it properly road worthy again. Looking forward to it though. Drove it to my workplace today and apart from a sticking calliper it drove faultlessly considering it’s not moved for nearly 7 years.

The paintwork does let it down sadly, it’s been resprayed in the past quite badly, but I’m hoping a wet sand and polish might help revive it for the time being.

Otherwise it appears to be pretty sound mechanically, FSH from Toyota, a folder full of paperwork including every single mot, all the tax discs from ‘99 and receipts for everything it’s had.

I know for certain it needs outer sills welded up, a new exhaust and obviously new tyres, brakes sorting and a full service of all the fluids etc. plan for now is to make it road worthy then upgrade and clean up bits as I go along.

It’s a ‘95 NA Rev 3 for anyone interested.

That's looks lovely, very clean! The aerial is impressive :D These look like a bit of a pig to work on though, judging by the series that Mighty Car Mods did on one anyway.
I think this was the first car that I really wanted as a kid in the 90's.

Not liking the aerial personally lol, want to go back to the old school original power aerial :) There certainly are some jobs that can be a pain on them but compared to a lot of stuff I work on they are quite simple.

Appreciate that thanks.
