Very nice - is that the 2 litre diesel?
'tis bright, that.
One of your lot was in front of me earlier today. A white one with the fast pack of whatever it's called. Sorry, can't be any vaguer.
Athlete! What in the 320d with m badges is a “fast pack”
Ah.. a crown athlete. Cool cars.. that’s what I had before this. I6 turbo. This is a 4.3 v8 to scratch that itch.Athlete!
I can imagine. No need for a hi vis, at least. In a car like this you need to bright and loud as you need to be seen, just like a biker your rather vulnerable.
@Gibbo - get an aeroscreen sorted for some track work. It's like nothing else!
Awesome, you'll have a blast!I’ve got one with the car.
What's going on with the exhaust on that Caterham? I thought they were side exit but it appears to go back under the car and then come out of the back.
I wear ear plugs on longer blats as my ears will be ringing if I don't, and that's with a measly 1.6 Sigma, doors & LHD!Trackday exhaust setup option (£800), in short it is quieter to pass all track days, also as its not right next to my ear my hearing should last a bit longer.
I won't fit in that, could have bought an SVHi there
So I have gone full circle, 525kg, 210HP Caterham S3 420R is now mine.
Say hello to Minty!!
Surprised at how well it cruises in all honesty, as drove it home from Nottingham, glorious sunshine the whole way, was amazing on the twisty bit and of course in the works car park donuts and many skids were performed, it is a total hooligan, LOVE IT!
I won't fit in that, could have bought an SV
It’s all about you isn’t itI drove both, far preferred the more directness of the S3, plus it encourages me to not put any more weight on and am now eating healthier to drop a few more kg but the padded bucket seats are very comfortable as fit nicely.
