Show Us Your Motors!

edit - missed the Granada before... lord that looks mint. Can't be many around like that. 2.8 V6 with what... 160bhp?

2.9i, 150bhp. I love it. Infinitely more comfortable and better equipped than a lot of modern cars I've driven.

Handling, obviously, isn't up to par with modern cars - but the ride is as good if not better than a lot of them.

I posted my del Sol with Integra bits a while back. That's my project. Thought I would pop up a couple of photos of my daily.

56 plate should be the current shape (FN2) Civic Type R, so this was one of the last of the previous (EP3)ones out of Swindon. It is a "Premier" edition so it has red carpets, "Type R" embossed calipers, Recaros, smoked windows, A/C and Momo steering wheel.

Weighted knob. Makes shifts 10 times better.

Alpine iDA-X100, linked to my iPod in the glove compartment.

Tweeter pods in doors (added Focal speakers front and rear)

Just a small sub (Focal). Anything bigger is overkill.

That's about it. It's a decent daily, but that's all it is to me.

If I still had my EP3 those Recaros would be on the shopping list (Mine was pre-facelift). Very comfy and supportive on the B-Roads.

Looks like a tidy one, lot of them are very used and abused now (including my old one :D ;))

Does it not excite you like the Del Sol then? I loved that I could drive to work pootling along then thrash it within an inch of its live round the back roads on the way home without a second thought about it. Loved it. Brimmed it with camping gear and dogs for two weeks every year and didn't think twice about it, really miss that car. Let it go because my then girlfriend wanted to go to uni and we needed some relief from the bills, then months later she ran off with someone else. Really miss that car, the b ad itch :(

My del Sol would only be redundant if it were your average del Sol, but that it certainly is not. It's more Integra than it is del Sol.

The Alpine unit head doesn't use disks, just USB devices. It's not bad.

The track is "Stadium Love" by Metric.

Heres a few moar pictures of my Starlet SR :)

I then took the bumper strips off and replaced with custom decals :)

( If pics are to big tell me to resize ;) )

Love that 306 - what's needed 2 grand spending on it though?

Its an 11 year old French car! :p

Berger will have to confirm but I am pretty sure it was just "the usual" for a car of that age but the guy was super-anal about it and fitted the best brake pads/disks/fluid etc. Drives well

Anal owner I guess, some of it needed doing but some of it is a little OTT. The guy was very relaxed and easy to deal with and I felt like a real stingy git haggling the asking price.

In the last 9 months all backed up with receipts/garage bills.

4x Michelin Pilot Exalto 2 in the correct 195/55/15 profile. - Thats £400 alone.
Bosch lambda sensor
Bosch map sensor
Crank sensor
Peugeot battery
Peugeot exhaust centre section
Peugeot front springs
Peugeot dampers front & rear
Droplinks,bumpstops,top mount kit,spring cups
Brembo discs front & rear, new brake calipers
Ferodo ds 2500 front pads, pagid rears
Mr swampy front brake hoses, ate blue brake fluid
Peugeot valeo clutch kit, peugeot clutch cable
Baker BM engine & gearbox mounts, Peugeot lower mount.

It needs a cambelt and aux belt change as its done 28k since the last one. I got a genuine peugeot/gates cambelt kit and aux belt included with the car but ill probably have to sell this as I can't see many garages being too happy about fitting or guaranteeing the work on a user supplied belt.

Awesome. Rallaye > GTi

That Xsara gone then?

I still have the xsara vts-s at the moment, have been trying to sell the supercharger kit seperate to the car and then the car on its own but despite everyone telling me what a good price it is no joy yet. Might just be as its a little slow coming up to christmas, I bought the Rallye for a steal and have the drive space to store it for a while anyway.

Going to Cadwell park on Thursday in the Xsara so hope to have a good time in it then, certainly makes the rallye feel slow compared!

No point creating a new thread, so i'll just pop this in here

Before, I haz a sad :( (old picture - pre-private plate)
