My Celica as it is at the minute. If the pics are too big say and I'll resize them

Easily one of the nicest Celica's i've seen in this MY. The wing on the back definitely completes the look and everytime i see one without (which is most of the time) they just look....odd and unfinished? It’s like when you see an Impreza or Evo without a rear wing – it just look weird!

Took a sneaky pic yesterday, still loads that needs to be done

Fiesta ST, is currently running the following:

JamSport stage 2.5 Supercharger - Rotrex charger, intercooler, etc
Miltek 2.5" full system inc. manifold, cat back
Cosworth inlet

Was running 267bhp and 211lbft back in June 2010 when it was fitted. Since then I've had the larger Miltek fitted and will be getting cams in the new year with another remap. That 'should' (going off what other cars are getting) push me over the 300bhp mark with around 240lbft.

Mostly doing little bits here and there at the moment until then though, like new intercooler pipe work, thermal inlet gaskets to stop heat soak into the inlet, larger throttle body, re-working some of the pipe work (hate the power steering hose running across the engine)

Other than the above its got Bilstein B12 suspension fitted, HEL braided brake lines and thats about it. I'm waiting for my new brakes to arrive at the moment, K-Sport 8 pots with 330mm disks, should be better than the standards I'm currently running!

Corrr! Nice.

Though, i'm sorry but i've got to ask 2 questions:

1) What's it like with all the power going through the front wheels? I got a lift in Princey's FWD Astra VXR which was built with 240 (?)bhp and was at 309bhp and i've never seen a ESP light flash so much! A car that was made to have 150bhp and now has nearly 270bhp has got to be ever so slightly compromised in some way?

2) Why are you spending all this money on a Fiesta? :p I know you've probably heard it 1000 times before, but i'm just interested.

1. It's not 'that' bad really. The power is liner, kind of like throttle bodies but with more omph, which means there isn't a huge surge of torque killing traction half way through the rev range. Bare in mind this is with a standard clutch and diff, I'll be replacing them soon with a quaife lsd and a new clutch which should help things. Yes it will wheel spin in 1st, 2nd and sometimes 3rd with heavy foot but that's only in damp conditions. I don't have ESP on my fiesta :p

2. Your oddly enough the first person to ask me this (probably because I'm mostly a member of Fiesta forums and they all think its 'cool'). Short answer is, I enjoy it and like being different. One of the bonus points is that when I come to sell the car, everything bar the re-map is bolt on meaning that I can sell everything separately and make most of the money back. Second hand superchargers are fetching £2,500 so it's not 'too' bad.

I have seen that sequential gearbox and if only I had the money for that! Looks to be an awsome bit of kit, not sure how good it would be around town though. I still use it as a daily drive :p
