Show Us Your Motors!

Thanks guys - I do love my new Sup.

Yes, the bonnet scoop was standard and serves the purpose of pushing air into the turbos... I think ;)

The mods include

550c injectors
Xenon headlight conversion
Blue flame down pipe
HKS Super drager from cat back
Tein Superstreet coilovers
New uprated side mount intercooler
ERL Aquamist water/meth injection
Blitz panel filter
HKS hard pipe kit
Apex-i AVCR boost controller
HKS turbo timer

Now sitting in garage, unable to drive. Hate Yorkshire. Always bad weather haha

You're a braver man than me, i wouldn't fancy owning a car that somebody else had modified that extensively. Mentioning stuff like water injection when you've got no knowledge of whether it was done properly etc.. scares me.

Hope it proves reliable for you !

ha move out of crimeville then.

i'm simply not driving it as much as i'd like to, havn't driven it for 4-5 weeks now and winters coming so it'll no doubt be kept tucked up. roads are awful round here this time of year (doesnt help with the flooding atm) so i've come to my senses :(

While i agree to an extent, you're unlikely to ever find an unmodified one of these. You'd also never buy one with reliability in mind I wouldn't have thought!

on a modified car being bought 2nd hand i mean.

Its one thing doing something like this to your own car, you can fully research the different tuners, find the one you like best, talk it though with them exactly what you want, make sure its done to a good standard

But buying it already done on a 2nd hand car you have none of this. Just a re-assurance from the seller its been done right, and maybe a receipt.

Even in your ownership there's no assurances that it'll be done right, so I wouldn't even worry.

Everybody worries about different things. Fox worries about creases in his leather for example :D (sorry fox, cheap shot I know ;) )

OP is obviously comfortable with it, as would you be, not me however :)

Lovely Supra! I like the interior, they have a sense of purpose, something sorely missing in modern cars.
One of the few cars i'd replace my GTO with.

I have looooooooooooooooooooooooads and loads of receipts and have been in contact with the ONE place the guy used for most stuff, including a turbo rebuild

You won't find a 15 year old car that hasn't been touched. It's BPU, which I wanted

I have my own mechanic and service route
