You might want to update your biography now. "Bought a house, can't afford a nice car. Hey ho...." ;)

In amongst this thread full of Impreza's, BMW's, Type-R's and other assorted niceness I present to you my new Mundano!!!

Don't think I did too bad for £1400 though with a Ford service history on it and a full MOT, me being the 2nd owner :)

It's nice to see a Rallye being used properly .

Hopefully someone will get a few good shots of the Soarer in action tomorrow at Brands :).

135 track miles or 50 laps of Oulton park full circuit.

Passed plenty of other more powerful or more track prepared machinery.

An aftermarket oil cooler, some DS2500 front pads and some worn R888s were all I changed over standard. Even left the interior and spare wheel on.

To be honest I am still damn tempted by a Rallye/GTI6 as a cheap track toy seeing how 16v 205 prices have gone a bit funny.

We'll see after tomorrow if I still feel I need a dedicated track toy in my life :).

Be better than an autobox barge ;)

Can cost though, budget for a cambelt change, then looking at a clutch/cable if its mega stiff. Thats £600+ at a garage or £300 in parts.

I don't think the standard Clio 182 wheel is THAT bad, apart from the fact it melts in the sun :p

Mine melted in my Vee, and IMO its way too big. So I went for the wheel from the trophy race cars!

Which happens to match the interior too!

Highly recommened. Who needs cruise!;)

Petrol is £1.30 around these parts now, so to celebrate I just bought myself a new toy

It's got a 3.5 litre V8 on twin carbs, and because it was built in 1971 its tax exempt :D

There is a long and expensive road ahead of me before it gets to the point of being road legal for the first time in years, but it's going to be awesome when that day finally comes :)

I hasn't been off the flatbed 30minutes and already the list of jobs has extended to several sheets of A4

I got my 4.4ltrs of 407bhp/443ftlb of F10 hot turbo sex this morning. I will do some better pictures at the weekend:
