I have one question, and I'm not trying to pick things out for the sake of it...but does anyone else think BMW need to ditch the orange dash lighting? It's starting to look pretty old fashioned, reminds me of a 1980s Atari Arcade .

Orange is meant to be a good colour for low light visibility so maybe there's method behind it, even if that's not it.

Petrol is £1.30 around these parts now, so to celebrate I just bought myself a new toy

It's got a 3.5 litre V8 on twin carbs, and because it was built in 1971 its tax exempt

There is a long and expensive road ahead of me before it gets to the point of being road legal for the first time in years, but it's going to be awesome when that day finally comes

I hasn't been off the flatbed 30minutes and already the list of jobs has extended to several sheets of A4

The amount of visible rust on that is a bit daunting. I'm guessing you're going to have to completely strip the whole thing down and sandblast/repair/respray the bodywork before anything else?

It slides in and out manually on most I've seen. Not sure about the F10.

The sport seats have it - it slides in and out.

Comfort seats totally pwn, unlucky.

Not a fan of the old man colour scheme, but the colour choices on the F10 are truly abysmal. Enjoy the 550i and the trapezoidal exhausts.

Shoulda got an Alpina B5 though ¬_¬
