Show Us Your Motors!

kind of makes sense then.

Guy you bought it off was obviously not that bothered about the mods and just wanted a nice car, and saw an oppertunity to swap for one with gulf colours.

Does make you wonder why he bought it in the first place, if he wasn't that bothered by the performance the mods offer.

Before the Elise he had an S1 Elise Sport 190 and an Exige Cup (full cage, fire extinguisher, electrical cut off, etc.).

I just think it's down to him seeing a very nice looking car and being impulsive, I found the receipt for what he paid for the Elise a year ago and he's made some money in terms of what he paid an got for it.

Car salesmen heh!

You mean you've paid over the odds for it? :p
Meh, £1500 or there about with the best part of £3K recently spent on the brakes being upgraded.

I don't think I paid over the odds as these converted cars don't really have a book price like normal cars do, it's in the ball park of what others have been advertised/sold for. Fair play to the chap for making some money off it :p

Next meet you're coming for a scare, ahem I mean ride :p

The MG... had her over 6 years...

Probably overdue for a change but she's treated me pretty well, and we've grown quite attached to each other.

Not amazing on the fuel.... started getting a few niggles here and there.

I'll be sad to see her go when the time comes!

I do like them with the hard top but i think id miss the black off the roof and would be worried of the car becoming too white?

For now i cant afford to buy anything for it anyway xD

Got some new carbs to get fitted over the weekend and few little bits to do!

The real test will come in 2 weeks when i attempt to drive it 130 miles to wales D: Its only done relatively short journeys the last few years!

Very nice indeed, looks identical to my dad's stag. His has a lvoely stainless exhaust and headers on it, sounds sensational from inside or out!

I'm flying back down just for a ride :D

Fox doesnt go out in many cars. :p

He's clearly scared about other cars making his barge feel slow, thus pushing him towards an M5 :p

Noticed whilst looking at the poor state of my rear brakes that my recent track day at castle combe has tinted my tailpipe. It was silver before i went. (with added pitting as it is 16 years old) New stage 3 map must be making things get a tad warm.

The new 3" downpipe has lost its new look already too.

Even the rear view mirror is nicely straight, can't stand it when people have wonky mirrors!

It bothers me ¬_¬

It annoys me too! I find the main culprits are females driving hatchbacks. :o

Though a few years ago that mirror did fall off and needed sticking back on. :p

Why are the font sizes different between front and back plates?

The rear plate looks incorrectly spaced (font too close to the plate edge).

Also, front plate isn't mounted in the horizontal center of the car ;)
