Show Us Your Motors!

New to the board so my first post of my speed machine!

I've added 17" Alloys, changed the front bumper to a face lifted corsa (03>) and removed the rubbing strips. Plans include replacing the headlights for newer ones.

Nice.... mate at work has got a silver one. He's having a load of problems with the laquer coming off the wheels though.

Shame that toyota for some bizzare reason are stopping production of the MR2 and Celica this year (if they haven't done already). :(

Looks sweet mate - very clean :) You enjoying the car then? I hope you're not having more luck than I had with mine!

Cheers dude.

Yeah she's great most of the time. Few annoying things at the moment, mainly dodgy sounds (overtightend cambelt and noisy gearbox).

The car was pretty cool when I first got it. But on the way up the M5 the gearbox died due to leaking CV boot which intutn has made the engine leak a small amount of oil. Then the PAS pump went...

Bit gutted as the old box was a smooth reconditioned unit and all I needed to do was check the oil.

Live and learn.

Mine broke down on the M5 on my first motorway journey aswell :o It was around junction 9 I think.

Gutted about the gearbox though :( Engine out job isn't it?

Mine cost me a stupid amount to maintain, but I don't regret owning one. I sure do miss that bonnet bulge!

I know most car parks look the same but that view is shockingly similar to the car park at the Triangle in Bournemouth......

The M5 is cursed tbh :p

Nah I think the guy dropped the subframe and it 'only' cost £150 labour to get a used unit fitted.

Yeah, when they go well, it makes it all so worth it :D
