Spent some time polishing my new piece of Jap Crap :D

Meguiars shampoo,
Meguiars clay detailer,
Tcut colour fast,
Auto Glym super polish resin
Meguiars tyre wash
Alloy cleaner,

yeah I admit it took me 5 hours, oh and the next day (yesterday) it was thunder storms!

well there it is! my loveley new bike, of course looks a little bit feeble compared to others posted here but ive got to start somewhere... only goes 65mph (well its done 70 but its a little above the limits of the handleing and the skinny tyres...) but tis enough for me (till i get my licence anyways :) )
removed old post - no idea what was going on.

Looks nice! What trim is that?

Very nice MrMatteh! Looks like a very tidy example :) I'm really craving another valver, but my bank account says no. How much did you pay for her?

Oh its H22a, 2.2vtec JDM import ~190bhp at stock. A few little modifications here and there should push me above 200 horses :) Its far too much fun at a bargain price... get one!

ahh yes very fun little cars. My father used to own a 93 Prelude VTEC with the H22a.....great fun. The car that got me into hondas...

I much prefer the h22 to the little b16 that I had in my civic but both were certainly fun motors....

it did have an intermitent issue where the core plugs would fill with oil...

happened once to me. car simple stopped and the starter motor shook lose.

took out all the spark plugs, turned it over, oil shot out. put spark plugs back and its fine. ive changed the rocker cover gasket and core plug seals so thats fine :) thats what ... £30

key had snapped off in the ignition barrel. new key was £13 from renault (although it seems the car has had its locks changed, so its the wrong one, but getting a proper one made up now :)) again not a big deal

I swapped the door too, as the old one was a bit dented :p.. £20-odd

the outside temp screen doesnt work either.. but ive got a new one ordered for a few quid :)

so for about £800, ive got a fairly good condition valver :)
