Godinman, a dealer will be able to give you a printout of the factory spec list for your car at no cost, if you want to know what it came with out the factory, the rest would be a process of deduction I suppose.

That is cool. Realoem and BMW themselves do not recognise my VIN but that tells me everything including all the Individual options it has

Talk about lucky the guy was dropping the car off last night when it started to rumble from the back end, after inspection at the garage today I was told its the rear drive shaft.. It's sold as seen so I could have been proper skint if it had started today, close! Lol

From a trader? No such thing as 'sold as seen' in such a case, especially if it breaks the day after purchase!

None trader, pot luck I had a 2009 Civic Type R and wanted to sell it for 4x4 and some guy was in love with my motor and after the mods I had done he just said do a straight swap.. .. Anyway he is paying for the £800/900 fix, looking on the net it's common on all big SUV's that share the same prob..

VW will not sell the prop in parts so its a complete unit at £700 + Vat then man hours :S good job he is Rich and I'm not lol..

It was a factory option I believe, it's the 'Sports leather steering wheel' or some such.
