A photo of my new e39 in the sun:

I didn't actually take photos at the pub, everyone else was using my camera having a play! Plenty of photos of Janesy B that someone took though....lol. I wasn't going to take my camera in the first place but some of the guys wanted to have a play with it :)

Ah yeah I took 2 before we left but just messing around pics, nothing really that came out decent on the big screen.

Well cheating as this is a pic from when I last owned it (sold in March 2010)

It was a 40k mile minter, I'm assured its still mint cosmetically however the engine is ****ed due to first the waterpump failing, then headgasket failing, then all being repaired and still no compression on 1 cylinder so suspect piston ring or something.

However this is not an issue, as the reason I got rid of the car was lack of power.

Call it sacrilege but I will be fitting a 2005 Citroen C4 engine with a few parts off a saxo vts engine whilst still retaining the very close ratio s1 rallye gearbox.

Should have approx 140bhp, lots of torque but still be nice and revvy.

Going to collect car tomorrow (fingers crossed bodywork and chassis is still mint!)

Pop's new F10.

Guess the model/engine - 0-60 in 7Sec £130 Tax :D

The autobox in this is excellent - shifts gears like its a DSG, not as fast obviously but crikey!

Only 9months old, 9k on the clock and £17k off list price :) Was quite a good deal from the dealer - Soper in Lincoln.

His old car was a 2003 CLK 320, safe to say his chuffed with this new car - a present from my brother.

Great taste in colour - but ours is newer :p

The car has a great presence doesn't it...what engine did he go for? Also the pics do it no justice, soo much better in real life.

You can probably guess bog standard 520d, cream leather, anthracite wood, ambient lighting, professional media. Its been over a year now so see many on the road, but the F10 has to have the sport package IMO, it gives it more presence - otherwise it looks pretty boring, especially with 351M alloys.

Agreed space grey looks much better in real life.

Its a bit old and rubbish compared to most in here (and people are probably fed up of seeing it) but I still have her and she still makes me smile.

Our cars are old, but they certainly don't look 18 (or in your case 16/17) years old!
Plenty power with a little bit of modding to keep up with a lot of machinery these days.

You got a ram-air intake where the fogs were?

Is that red one yours, its a lovely example.

The red samco where the fogs used to be is for the mitsubishi evo front mount that my car has. :)

Ah nice one, couldn't see it through the grill & yeah that's mine, posted it up here before, but now it's got clear lenses, coilovers and the recaro interior...projectors yet to be fitted
