One for dogs, one for cats, I figure why not one for the more obscure, or commonplace but under-appreciated pets? Bring out your rodents, your birds, your insects, your lizards and amphibians and big, hairy spiders!
I've shared some of mine before, but since we've got a brand new thread and all I might as well lump them all together.
Two of our rabbits, Mildred is the black and Uther the lop=eared... I don't know what colour you'd call that, but the desert camo-looking fella
That'll be Philip, a very fluffy,long-haired something or other. I don't have a good photo of his pen-mate, Captain Sal - just imaging Mildred with floppy ears and a whole lot more belly.
All four were rescue rabbits - not like Rescue Rangers, unfortunately, they came from a rehoming centre.
All seven birds in one image! A remarkable feat, considering how much they run around. The grey on the far left is Gary - she's a troublemaker. Around the food bowl you can see Beatrice (white), Cynthia (beige) and Clara (black). The bigger duck is Gaddafi and the smaller one is Priscilla, Queen of Ducks. Just behind Beatrice's head you can see Claudia - she's a little puffy ball of fluffy grey feathers that bounces when she runs, lays eggs less than an inch high and very much enjoys chasing our two border collies around the garden.
A slightly better shot of Claudia. She's not doing anything weird with her head, that's just how fluffy her feathers are. If you see her feet, she looks like she's wearing Ugg boots. She's fallen in the duck bath twice and when she's soaking wet with her feathers flat down she's about the size of a grapefruit.
