I got burned with recent pre-orders, so I've decided I'm not buying games anymore until there are reviews and/or demos.

True, however I'm quite sure the above are dead certs, apart from Halo 2, but I have nothing to play... so might as well :)

I agree, all of those apart from Halo 2 look like they should be crackers from the get go. Personally though, I have just lost all faith at this point so I am going to play the skeptic.

Dont care, could take it out completely if i wanted to... just didnt want it to be glaringly obvious.
If someone wants to sit and puzzle it together... good for them ;)

not very sporting to make your surname unreadable though :D

Damn, when I saw your preorder for Unreal Tournament III for £17.99 I thought I'd jump in there and preorder it also.

They're listing it at £24.99 now though :(

what's the point of pre-ordering, so long in advance, theyre never released on time, i can order 7 days before the reall release date and still get it the same time.

I don't generally preorder, but I thought if I could preorder it at £17.99, then why not. They're usually good at supplying at the preorder price, even if the price goes up before release.

Won't bother now though.

Did you n not read the post above + if prices go down, so will your price, so you can only score on the deal.
Nice and easy too, just look for all upcoming games you want and order them, sit back and wait for them to arrive, no need to be looking around a week before release.

Rinse and repeat every year or so :)

or wait for release and shop about and get it cheaper than the pre-order price, they also do not have to honour the pre-order price although they mainly do.
