Show Us Your Racks

Nowhere near any of the racks here but here's mine (for now).
Lack rack on top of lack rack (massively over engineered L bracket stability) N54L on the left and N40L on the right.

Not quite as ghetto as some racks in here, I think this still counts..

Rack final by neilgates, on Flickr

N40L (8Gb upgrade, eSATA addon card, HP quad port NIC)
2x StarTech eSATA connected DAS
APC SUA1500
TP-Link TL-SG2216
Sky router

Cab fans run from molex to 4x 3pin cable run through the back of the Microserver.

Excuse the sloppy cabling down the bottom, having some line issues and need easy access to the socket.

This is my setup at home.

No picture, but I screwed one of those vertical racks on the wall and put my 24 port switch on it. The whole house buzzed :( So I put a sheet of rubber between the wall and the "rack" and tried again. Still the same. Dammit! Wonder what use they are for?

Just had an outbuilding built for home cinema, so took the opportunity to run some more CAT6a into the house and get a new network cabinet :)

Kit is:

(On the wall) Openreach FTTP modem @ 330/30 :D
Cat6a Patch Panel
Cisco SG200 26P POE switch
Linksys SR2024 Gigabit switch
Ubiquiti EdgeRouter

Dell Poweredge 2950
Dell Poweredge 1950 - Both used for ESXI
Custom home server with ~20TB usable storage

Hopefully getting a couple R610/R710s to replace the 2950 and 1950 soon

Can I ask what the depth of your rack is in that picture? I'm looking at a new rack to house my R310s/410 & 510 with rail kits but I'm not sure how deep it should really be.

Blimy my racks changed a bit since i last posted in here! (I say my rack, it's work, but i'm the only one that has anything to do with it these days :p)

Here's my updated one: http://imgur.com/a/7AWD5

From top to bottom on the first picture:
Nimble CS215 (i LOVE THIS THING!)
3 x SuperMicro X10DRW-iT, 2 x E5-2620v3 cpus, 64gb ram, 2 x 10GbE NICs. VM Hosts.
2 x HP DL360G7, 2 x E5620 CPUs, 64gb ram. Terminal Servers
Infortrend Eonstor DS, used for backup storage, full of 2TB SATA disks
Turned off Eonstor currently not in use.
HP DL360Gen8 - running Arcserve UDP and Arcserve backup.
Overland Storage Neo100, 9 bay tape autoloader
UPS's's's. There's another UPS in the second (and now pretty empty) rack to the right.

The cables aren't very tidy i know :( but it's 1000x tidier than what i started with! and it's all documented

Mine is actually 1000mm, I wanted extra space at the back for cabling etc, its quite big!

I need to use something other than a potato to take pictures, but here it is:

0Kwqvq9l

Bottom to top, I have:
- 2x Dell 1u 8CPU Core / 16GB of RAM / 1TB of Disk ESXi hosts (currently powered off)
- 1x 4u FreeNAS + Plex Media Server 2x 4 LGA 2011 CPU Cores / 32GB of RAM / 24TB of Storage & 18TB Usable
- 1x HP 1920 1GBs Fanless switch
- 1x HP N54L Server w/ 2GB RAM running Ubuntu + PMS

At the top i've also got a rackmounted monitor that i've placed on a shelf due to lack of rails.

Not much compared to most on here.
HP Procurve 1410-16G
Synology DS215j with 2x WD 2tb Red's
Ubiquiti Unifi LR AP (Not pictured)
Dodgy Plusnet router + Openreach Modem (not pictured)

Need to run a load more cat6 as I would prefer not to use Wifi for most things. Discovering the ground floor was concrete and not floorboards in the new house has stopped progress for now.
