Aaaah I understand. I'll have a look on my Sammy when I get home tonight for ya.

I do know that on the PC at 1360x768 I have three columns of pixels on either side that are switched off. I'll have a look later at the 360, but I do not recall there being a choice in the menu system, apart from whacking it down to 4:3.

Well unless im reading your thread wrong, your asking the obvious there.
Will a 1360x768 signal display on a 1366x768 display? Yes.
Will the image stretch? Yes. Unless you do 'auto-adjust' which will 1:1 map it.

I think it remembers. So if you changed the source, you just auto-adjust again, and it goes back to normal.
In other works, just auto-adjust each time and you'll be fine. :)

and i know your all wondering why the 360 isnt in the stand well....

everytime i wanna play my 360 the wife is usually watching some old rubbish, so i have to hike the 360 upstairs to my Dell 2007WFP monitor which seemed great when i first got it, but is now a bit dull compared to my shiny new TV

None. The R73 (blue trim on the bottom) is sold only to a certain group of high street stores, everyone else gets the R74 (silver trim on the bottom). There is an R72 (or 1) as well I think, which is white.

the only difference is the colour of the flap above the stand blue on the 73's and silver on the 74's afaik
 
Had a little bit of an upgrade :)

i.e. new amp (Denon AVR-1906), new speakers (Mission M33i's, M30i's, M3c2i), new PJ (Panasonic PT-AE500), new VGA cable lol
