Show Us Your XBox 360 Setup!

Guys I need some advice.

The parents have given me £300 towards a new TV for Xmas (I'm prepared to put £100-150 on top).

I'm currently on a 17" portable, so obviously more or less anything will be an improvement.

Just looking at some of your setups with the 360 (which will be the main use of the TV, along with Sky ofc). Wondering if anyone can reccomend me some TV's that fit within my price range and will work well with the 360.

Thanks dudes :)

Your probably looking for £4-500 a 26" HD Screen

Either a Sammy or LG - not looked into the 26" models to much myself mate, should give you a nice starting point though

The infamous Sammy 26 inchers are currently online for between £550 and £600, so a bit pricey I'd assume?

Also check across on AVForums, they often have discount codes floating around .

You can get a R74 Samsung 26" for 489.99. I was going to get it but i stretched to the 32" with 5000:1 contrast ratio. I got the 32" for £600

ooo I reckon I might be able to stretch to that, it's my dream TV :p

I guess that price is available from a competitor? Or can you tell me?

I dont think its a competitor as it has nothing PC electrical on the site! But im not sure.

My pic of the 32" is on page 28, it is thoroughly worth it, the extra contrast ratio from 3000:1 for the 26" and the 5000:1 of the 32" is worth it imo and you get an extra 7 inches aswell for £100 more!

£490 is pushing it though, that would be like the absoloute top of my price bracket.

I'll add you to MSN to discuss further. (Used one in Trust).

Very smart McDaniel. :)

So what are your first impressions ?

So pretty :D

The only problem ive noticed is that Sky is "crackling" but only on certain channels - not sure what thats aboutl also trying to work out how to get audio from Sky in PIP mode when i have the Xbox via VGA.

Ran the 360 via VGA + Component, both look absoloutely excellent, think i prefer the "washy" effect VGA gives over Component :)

Looks ace though, got a few more pics of the 360 setup but cba to post atm - still playing
