Bathroom Panels
I'm planning on using these in the wet areas of my bathroom instead of tiling (easier to clean and look lovely), but I just realised I want to put in some in wall niches but can't see any instructions or pictures of people using it that way.
Does anybody think it's possible to do? I can't see how the corners wouldn't let in water.

Wouldn't it just be the opposite of the box that covers the toilet section in the photograph in the link? Use trim or seal on the corners.

Just be careful as while these are cheaper etc if you crack one of them you have to replace the whole thing. My brother recently got them and I'm not sure if I'm a fan tbh, although I think the ones he got are at the cheaper end of the market.

I had problems sealing my shower that was tiled so took shower cubicle out and put panels on top of tiles -Also put a new frameless cubicle
in.

Best thing I have done but not any niches.
I bought the marine ply ones and didn't cut any-well except for a few inches along top but covered that with alloy strips.
None of this bend over drying your feet and your bum hit's ice cold tiles. Nice and warm to the touch.
I do have the shower unit on panel not channelled in wall and use chrome pipes - Not a fan of water in walls especially shower cubicles

The other thing is you can wash them with car wash soap and dry off then wax them with Collinite,

You are going to find it a nightmare using those in a niche and trying to keep the patterns lined up.

But niches are easy, just like when tiling the sub surface should be fully waterproof before you install these panels, they arent substitute for proper prep so looking into something like a marmox niche and work from there.

Oh yeah it should be. Weird how I've not seen any picture online of suppliers doing it.
I emailed Fibo last week, so just waiting for a response

I've heard very good things about Fibo panels so I'm happy they should be very durable.

That's great to know! I'm getting them because I was getting the metro tiles anyway so this way would just be much easier and get the exact same design.

I've got a link somewhere to some niches I was planning on using, I think they were Jackoboard
