For months now I've been trying to show my FPS output in video games, and so far have only found MSI Afterburner which does it without any real performance impact other than Dxtory whose readout takes up half the screen, so I was wondering if there are any programs that monitor and display FPS during gameplay which is small and sleek? Getting sick of MSI Afterburner's d3d9 60.0 rubbish.

Speaking of MSI, is it possible to remove that dumb d3d9 crap from the overlay?

Thanks!

The last time I used FRAPS the fps counter was huge and you couldn't resize it, but I'll have a look, as for EVGA, that's OCing software like MSI isn't it? You sure it won't have the render type before the counter?

AFAIK you can customise what afterburner shows from just showing 1 line with the fps to dozens of lines with GPU temperatures, etc.
