Showing PC name on desktop

Hi. Is there any way I can display the name of a PC on its desktop, and possibly modify the text, ie font size?

OK, thats one option, but what would I use to do it?

And is there an application that would pick the name up from System Properties?

Are you doing this yourself or getting someone else to do it?

If you right click on 'My Computer' and going to 'Properties' then in the new window go to 'Computer Name' tab will show the Computers name then go to 'Start' then click 'Run' in the new popup window type "mspaint" - You then have the information and means to create the background.

bginfo is used by a lot of corporates

BGinfo for me too - runs on all of our servers, updating each time you login so that you can tell easily if you're TS'ed into the wrong box and see some basic system info.
