Shuffle mode - Winamp

Do any other Winamp users notice that shuffle mode is not a true shuffle? The algorithm must be complete crap because I hear the same songs/artists all the time. When I first installed it it seemed to be pretty good...

Are there any plugins available that use a better algorithm?

Could it be that the tracks have a different artist name or the tags are incorrect such as spelling?

I found this too so I stopped using Winamp. I wish I could find a player that didn't have so many annoying flaws, unfortunately Winamp, WMP AND iTunes all have these.

I just choose the randomise playlist option then just let it play throught that.

Most defently, I now just tend to go through my playlist enqueue loads & let it play :/

Might jiggle things up enough.
