Shuffle on Ipods

I tend to listen to Ipod at work using shuffle and it seems to me that it has a thing for Frank Sinatra and Rolling Stones! (One sinatra album albeit the best of and about 10 stones albums!)

Is there a way to change the randomness (hehe couldn't think of a better word!) so I get a better spread of songs?

I know what you mean. Mine seems to like Guns and Roses, which is most upsetting as I can't stand them now. As far as I know there is no way to influence the randomness of the track selection. You can do someting similar within Itunes, but not directly on the ipod. A feature I would like to see is a "more like this" option. You could hit it when shuffle brings up a song you like.

Delete it? The shuffle on iPods is totally random, it's just it is possible to randomly get the same band twice in a row.
