anyone used both or had either? Will be mainly used for biking and running so the fit is very important.
Any other recommendations appreciated

Budget upto £110

Take a look at some reviews of the VSonic GR07 Classic/Bass Edition. Both within your budget, both veryvwell reviewed. Doesn't help answer question, probably makes it worse and now you have a third option to consider :P

Hard to say, but the detachables on my VS3D-S are holding up well after several months of gym usage - very sturdy anchor point, to be honest. I cant remember what the SE215s were like in this respect, however.

i have the se315's and the cable held ok for a while but like others have had the cable does go on them over time.

ive actually got one on repair at the moment due to that exact problem.

ive recently bought the RHA MA750's and they are superb. The shures did fit well but after long sessions they would hurt a little, or need re adjustments (using the foam tips)

the MA 750's i couldnt get a good enough seal on the foam tips but i tried the silicone ones (dont eally like the silicone ones) but the seal and fit is phenomenal. Been fine with sweat when i go running too.

they are £80 direct from RHA so come in under your budget too (with some change)

Had SE215s for almost a year now and they're great. Nice sounding and very comfortable once you find the tips you like (triple flange silicone for me).

Cable is staring to go a bit, getting sound dropping out in one ear sometimes when I move my head, although to be fair the cable has taken a quite a beating. Currently looking at a replacement.

Bear in mind, most IEMs like these isolate sound very well (in fact once you have music playing you might as well be deaf to everyone else). If you're using them on roads where you want your ears for traffic etc. then you might want to consider this.

That's how.mine started and it got progressively worse. Shure will fix it for you (even out of warranty) for a small fee. (Around £30 I believe) which isn't too bad if you really like them.

Im super pleased I switched the the rhas though. Was tempted to go for the more expensive t10's but an item reviewer over on headfi said not too bother.

MA750's are just superb and sound quality is fantastic, I'm gunna buy a DAP at the end of the week to do them justice. Looking at the Fiio X1

RHA MA750 and FiiO X1 here and it's a very nice pairing indeed. :)

I did have a little discomfort to start with as the MA750 does have a large diameter body and it was causing soreness on the outside of my ears but that went away after a couple of days. Now I find them very comfortable and they sound fantastic once you get a good seal (I use the largest silicone tips). Are they perfect? No, the cable is quite heavy gauge and a few inches too long but their build quality is second to none and they have already shrugged off accidents that would have seen IEMs with lesser build quality parted from their cables.

Sound wise it is quite neutral with powerful and fast sub-bass, rich mids and smooth yet detailed highs. Unlike the rest of the RHA lineup they are not aimed at bassheads but instead sound much more natural and musical.

thats good to hear, where did you buy yours from? over in the USA they are $100 but here £100, so annoying.

I was looking at the rha but read they're quite heavy so discounted them for running

ive been on a number of runs now and can safely say that they stay in my ears better than my shures did.

I got the X1 from the rain forest when it was £89

The RHA are heavy because they are made of stainless steel BUT once they are in your ears their design makes them weightless - the ear hook design is really effective and incredibly comfortable.
