So basically I've been suffering random shut downs when playing Final Fantasy 14,sometimes I can play for hours without a problem and on another day I can't play for 15 minutes without the PC shutting off.
I suspected my PSU so I ran OCCT with my GPU in and it failed in around 70 seconds. So I took out my gfx card and tried again, it completed the recommended 5 minute test. So is this still a PSU problem? or is it my graphics card? I'm hoping the latter as I already have a bunch of parts on order from OC.
My specs:
Phenom 2 x4 850
GTX 460 1gb OC
8 Gig RAM
1 TB HDD
Single DvD drive
Antec 300 case with 4 case fans.
OCZ StealthXtreme2 700w PSU
Any help on the matter is greatly appreciated as I'd hate to install my new part only for my PSU to fry them if that's the case.
Thanks.
