Hi,

was wondering if anyone had any idea about my problem? when gaming on games like Watch_dogs, Elite Danderous (beta1) my PC will shutdown or turn itself off without warning, there is no BSOD a reboot is in order, i know it isnt a poer surge as i have an anti surge extension cable, am wondering if the case fans need a tweek or the gfx card or CPU is overheating?

thanks in advance

I have no idea the make of the PSU, it isnt old at all, must only be about 6 months old at best, i have another PSU but its only a 450w and i dont think itll cope with the 770

Before you rush out and buy anything new can you get hold of another PSU from anywhere to test with ?

Also if this is only 6 months old you should return it if indeed it does turn out to be the PSU and replace it with one of the major branded PSU's the PSU is one thing you should not cut corners on spend the extra for a better quality one.

is the system a self build or did you buy it built ?

I built it haha, maybe thats why its failing

it is possible, the problem occured when i added another fan, the 80mm but it seems trivial that a fan could cause a problem, altho ive ran a benchmark on the cpu and gpu and all was fine
