shutter on my 10D isn't working properly

The shutter on my 10D has stopped working properly, it seems i have to wiggle it about to actually take a picture instead of just a simple press, anyone ever had this problem as it's a pain in the arse atm trying to take a shot

after reading up on it i've just purchased a remote shutter for it, i wanted one anyway. I had a fiddle with the shutter and it seems to fire fine and quickly if the camera is upside down and sometimes it's fine as normal.

this has been going on for about a year on and off. I'll wait till my remote release comes and check it then.

If it is the mirror, what kind of repair cost am i looking at?

right i got my remote shutter yesterday and the good news is the shutter aint on it's way out

So it's the button thats knackered.

yeah sure, though funds are tight atm, just forked out for a new MTB
