(Not sure this is the right forum - please move mods if its not).

I've brought an SN25P from OCUK and today got the rest of the parts for it also from OCUK, which for info are:

AMD 64 X2 Athlon 4400
2 gig of Ram
OcUK Galaxy GeForce 7900 GS
SATA HD
DVD RW

I followed the instructions and put them all into the case and turned it on. Very little happened. It wouldn't even show the BIOS. The GCards bios would show up on screen (you know the bit that says what it is etc etc), but then it would just reset and do the same thing again.

Can anyone offer any help as to whats happened? I have built systems before and was carefull when handling the parts. The SATA HD has no jumper on it, should it? I've never used a SATA HD before.

Anyhelp would be great.

Update - I managed to get onto the BIOS loading screen after hitting the CMOS reset button on the back, but didn't notice in time and it re-set it self before I could press any keys.

Could it be a power issuse? I've had to buy a splitter to get enough power to the GCard, can the shuttle handle this?

Another small update:-

Now the system goes through the cycle of showing the GCard scree, then the Shuttle screen, the screen then goes black for 2/3 seconds and it re-sets itself.

I'm completely lost as to what the problem is

If anyone can help I've been able to get into the BIOS menu screen by holding down the CMOS reset button while the system boots up, but thats all.

Removing the second GIG sticked worked, so thankyou for that. I am now able to get far enough to be able to install XP. So is it the RAM thats faulty or not the right type or something different altogether?

The RAM is the OCUK value DDR ram, I'm going to test the one I removed in my other system (the one I'm on now) and see if it works in that machine.
