Anyone know if the bios on this

can be flashed to take a core2duo (E2180 I think)

got one of these shuttles and cant get it to post at all - reset the bios, changed to a celeron cpu, switches on ok, fans on max and no post - any ideas, unplugged everything except ram, still no difference.

Anyone any ideas with this - I think the mobo might be knackered, anyone else have any less expensive ideas?

Well I've now tried the following

3 different CPUs
No CPU
Onboard Graphics only,
2 different graphics cards
lots of different ram
no RAM
Different PSU,

All with everything else disconnected.

Still get fans on max, no post! Anyone help??

looks like I may have to re-think - can anyone tell me if there is a mobo out there which will fit in the xpc and make use of the vfd on the front (ribbon cable connector)??
