Shuttle SG33G5 will an 8800gt fit?

Hi all,

A friend is having issues fitting an Asus 8800gt into a SG33G5. I've no knowledge of SFF's and haven't actually been down to take a look yet (it's his first build) so just wanted to get some feedback before I did.

does the 8800gt have a single slot cooler? As far as I know all G series can only accept single slot coolers so that might be the issue.

As long as he bought the asus single slot 8800gt it will deffo fit!

I had an 8800gt in mine. Only problem was the heat playing games caused the 8800gt fans to ramp upto full so it quite noisy

Cheers guys, looks like i'll have to source a slimline cooler of some kind for him or get him to sell it and buy a reference model.
